Jewelry Cleaning & Inspection in Oklahoma City

Diamond Consulate offers jewelry cleaning, polishing and inspection appointments in Oklahoma City. We assess the metal, stones and settings before recommending a cleaning method or finish refresh suitable for the piece.

Thoughtful service

Which cleaning method is right for your jewelry?

A careful inspection first

Built-up residue can hide wear. Tell us about loose stones, snagging prongs or recent damage so those concerns can be assessed before cleaning.

A method suited to the jewelry

Some gemstones, treatments, adhesives and antique details are sensitive to heat, chemicals or vibration. Cleaning methods should follow the needs of the piece.

Preserve the finish you love

A high polish is not the right finish for every item. Discuss satin textures, engraving and antique character before approving polishing or refinishing.

Before you visit

What happens during a jewelry inspection?

What to expect

We review the piece and your concerns, recommend cleaning or finishing steps and explain any repair needs discovered during assessment.

What to bring

Bring the jewelry and any information about gemstone treatments, prior repairs or the finish you want to preserve.

Repair and service charges are separate from the appointment. We explain the proposed scope, price and timing before you authorize work.

Cleaning, Polishing & Inspections questions

What to know before you book.

Can I book a jewelry cleaning appointment?

Yes. Diamond Consulate offers cleaning and inspection appointments at our Oklahoma City studio. Call ahead to arrange a visit.

Do you inspect rings for loose stones?

Yes. Tell us about movement, snagging or recent impact so the setting can be assessed and any repair needs discussed.

Can every piece go in an ultrasonic cleaner?

No. Some stones, treatments, settings and assembled pieces are unsuitable for ultrasonic cleaning. The jewelry needs assessment first.

Is polishing the same as cleaning?

No. Cleaning removes residue; polishing alters the surface to improve its finish and can remove a small amount of metal. We discuss which service is appropriate.

Will polishing remove every scratch?

Deep scratches and damage may remain or need more extensive work. Aggressive polishing can affect details, so the goal is an appropriate finish for the piece.

Can you preserve a brushed or satin finish?

Tell us the finish you want to keep. We assess whether it can be cleaned or refreshed without converting it to a high polish.

Does cleaning fix loose stones?

No. Cleaning is not a setting repair. Loose stones or worn prongs need separate assessment and authorization for the recommended work.

How often should I have my ring inspected?

Frequency depends on wear and any warranty requirements. Arrange an inspection promptly if a stone moves, a prong catches or the ring has taken an impact.

How much does cleaning and polishing cost?

Service and preparation vary by piece. Ask for the scope and any charges when scheduling or at the inspection; polishing and repairs may be separate.

Can I bring jewelry purchased elsewhere?

Yes. We accept appointment requests for jewelry purchased elsewhere and assess cleaning suitability based on the actual piece.
