How often is an inspection required?

Jewelry should be brought to Diamond Consulate for a complimentary inspection every six months to help keep the warranty active.

Is accidental damage covered?

No. Accidental damage, normal wear and tear, loss, theft, improper care, harsh chemical exposure, and damage caused by third-party repairs or alterations are not covered.

Is one resizing complimentary?

Yes, the first standard resizing is complimentary on qualifying rings where the design and setting style permit safe resizing. Certain designs or substantial size changes may not qualify.

Why Inspections Matter

Small maintenance issues are easier to address before they become larger ones.

Fine jewelry is meant to be enjoyed, but everyday wear can gradually affect prongs, settings, and structural integrity. Routine six-month inspections help identify changes early and are an important part of maintaining warranty coverage.

If you believe your jewelry may have a warranty issue, reserve a consultation so we can inspect the piece and explain the next step.
