On-Site Rhodium Plating in Oklahoma City

Diamond Consulate offers on-site rhodium plating by appointment at our Oklahoma City studio near Nichols Hills. Rhodium can refresh the bright white finish of suitable white gold jewelry after the piece has been inspected and prepared.

Thoughtful service

How does on-site rhodium plating refresh white gold?

Refresh white gold

White gold can show a warmer tone as an existing rhodium layer wears. Replating restores a bright surface finish; it does not change the metal underneath.

Preparation matters

We assess stone security, surface wear and the condition of the piece before plating. Cleaning, polishing and any needed repair are discussed as part of the proposed work.

On-site, by appointment

Rhodium plating is available on-site at Diamond Consulate. Reserve ahead so we can confirm suitability, timing and whether any additional repair is needed.

On-Site Rhodium Plating questions

What to know before you book.

Do you do rhodium plating on-site in Oklahoma City?

Yes. Diamond Consulate offers on-site rhodium plating at 5701 N Western Avenue, Suite B. An appointment is required.

What does rhodium plating do for white gold?

It adds a thin bright white surface layer to suitable jewelry. It refreshes the finish without changing the underlying white gold alloy.

Why is my white gold ring turning yellow?

The original plating can wear away and reveal a warmer underlying alloy. An inspection helps distinguish normal finish wear from other surface issues.

How often should I replate my ring?

There is no fixed interval for every ring. Wear depends on daily use, friction, exposure and personal preference; replate when the finish warrants it.

Can rhodium plating fix scratches or broken prongs?

Plating does not rebuild missing metal or repair a setting. Polishing or repair may be needed before plating, and those steps should be included in the estimate.

Can I have my ring plated while I wait?

Ask when booking. Although plating is performed on-site, preparation, condition and the service schedule determine whether a while-you-wait visit is available.

How much does rhodium plating cost?

The price depends on the piece and preparation required. We confirm the estimate after inspecting its size, condition and finish.

Can all gemstones go through the plating process?

Suitability depends on the stone, treatments, setting and preparation method. Tell us what you know about the jewelry so it can be assessed before work.

Will rhodium plating make a ring fit tighter?

The surface layer is very thin and is not a substitute for ring resizing. A fit problem needs a separate sizing assessment.

Do you offer walk-in rhodium plating?

No. Rhodium plating is by appointment only. Call (405) 805-1050 to arrange a suitable time.
